About the wine
Sweet delight
- Sam Plunkett continues to surprise us with great wines every day and this Traminer Riseling is no exception!
- The pale straw colour shifts to a beautiful light gold as the wine ages. Aromas of lovely lychee and orange blossom mixed with an exotic spice note will keep you coming back for more every time!
- Soft fruitiness is complimented by a fresh acid and the clean refreshing finish combined with a slight sweetness make it a real crowd pleaser. The grapes were picked from vines planted in 1982 so you know you will get a story with every sip the palate.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
The backing of thousands of Naked Angels has helped pave the way for Sam to continue making the great wine he loves, exclusively for you!
