Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Super premium rich South Australian Shiraz!
- Sourced from old Eden Valley and Barossa Valley vines, this super premium shiraz is modelled after a wine extremely close to Sorby’s heart - he made the iconic Yalumba Octavius from inception in 1988 through to 1999.
- It’s rich, juicy red and blue berry flavours carry an underlying hit of mocha and coffee. This delicious character is a result of maturing in French oak barrels that have had special red carpet treatment before coopering. The oak character is powerful and unique!
- It’s a superb example of a fine South Aussie red by a legendary winemaker. The amazing length of flavour and richness will reward cellaring for at least 15 years, if you can bear to wait!
