Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Stunning, soft and moreish - from the Barossa's best vintage in years!
- Josh picked from three different vineyard sites in the Barossa and kept the grapes separate throughout the winemaking process so he could get the final blend just the way he wanted it. Using just the natural yeast on the fruit, and no fining agents, this wine is vegan-friendly.
- 2023 was one of the best vintages in the last 20 years in the Barossa, giving this wine its fantastic colour and flavour. It smells of blueberry and raspberry with a shake of black pepper and dried mixed herbs in the background. Soft, smooth and easy drinking - it delivers in spades!
- Pull it out at a family get together or take it to a Sunday BBQ and watch it disappear. Your mates will be asking you where you got it from and how much you paid, and you’ll be able to shock them with just how little it cost you.
Best before
I believe this wine is drinking well now, but will continue to improve over the next 3-5 years and could be aged up to 7 years without hesitation.
Serving advice
Twist the top open, pour into your glass and enjoy. The wine will unfold in your glass over 10 minutes or so. If you are serving this wine at a dinner with friends, 30 minutes in a decanter wouldn't hurt.
Food match
This is a pizza wine to me. Our local, 40's cafe serve up a smokey pizza, with a bunch of local (german-inspired) small goods used as toppings, which works perfectly with this wine.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Josh Pfeiffer
- When the pandemic left Josh’s family wines in need of new homes, Angels came to the rescue and scooped them up. His brush with Naked freedom was enough to make him want to stay, and it was a special day when Angels welcomed him to the family for good!
- Josh is a talented winemaker with four generations of Barossa grape-growers blood flowing through his veins. He’s taking a fresh approach to traditional wines, backed by barrels of passion and industry know-how from iconic wineries.
- From growing up on a Penfolds vineyard to working at Henschke and helping put his family winery on the map, it’s no surprise he landed a spot on the Top 50 Young Guns of Wine list - three years in a row. What a rockstar!
