About this case
- Preservative free wine is wine that does not contain any added sulphur dioxide, which is the preservative normally used - so you won’t see any reference to ‘sulphites’ or ‘preservative 220’ on the back of Jock’s preservative free Shiraz.
- Jock, luckily, has access to a tiny little single-vineyard plot where the vine rows run east-west providing perfect shade during the long hot summers. And then, as a bonus, a cooling sea breeze flows up the gully at night giving the vines a much needed recovery session from the South Australian heat.
