About the wine
The perfect for every day wine!
Crack open Hamish’s Cabernet Sauvignon for a tempting waft of cherry, blueberry and mint, followed by juicy plum and mulberry. Bold tannins and a long finish completes the delicious picture.
It's made from premium grapes from the iconic wine growing region of Langhorne Creek in South Australia. At the hands of a skilled winemaker like Hamish, you're in for a big huggable red treat!
Fresh, fruit forward and easy drinking - you can't beat it for value! A wine of this quality would easily cost twice the price if you could get it anywhere else (which you can't, lucky you!)

Meet the winemaker - Hamish Maguire
- Hamish was born into a respected winemaking family and raised among the McLaren Vale vineyards. His passion for the industry isn’t just down to family ties though, vintages in traditional wineries in Europe sealed his grape-induced fate.
- Hamish's 'day job' is overseeing his successful family business — a much respected and awarded Mclaren Vale winery. But he's a visionary and a rebel at heart, so in 2012, he joined the Naked Wines family to make Angels his ‘passion’ wines — Engine Room.
- His Engine Room wines are a product of imagination and a willingness to be different. These skillful blends of traditional with ‘alternative’ varieties, coupled with Angel backing, gives Hamish a creative outlet from the typical winemaking of the region to create something new and exciting. And it's made him one of our most popular winemakers in the process!
