About the wine
Pretty Mid Strength Plunkett Pink!
- You’ve seen the Mid Strength trend taking the wine world by storm. Now is your chance to jump on board Naked’s first foray into the world of Mid Strength drops! This one comes courtesy of the delightful Sam Plunkett.
- At 8.5% ABV, this Mid Strength Butterfly Effect Rosé 2023 started life in the normal way. It then went through a reverse osmosis process to remove some of the alcohol. Sam & the team did extensive research into the Mid Strength space, so you can rest assured he’s perfected the craft.
- Sam recommends drinking this drop as a youngster, to make the most of its vibrant, refreshing flavours. Hungry? This will be a delight with salmon.

This is a lovely light bodied and refreshing wine - drink it as a youngster.

Drink it cool and refreshing, say 8-12C
Food match
These Mid Strength wines are a lovely refreshing drink on their own. If looking for a food match, same as with the full strength rose I think this rose is a great match with salmon - the pretty pink colour of both will look good at the table! And that crisp refreshing palate will cut through and balance the sometimes oily texture of salmon.

Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
The backing of thousands of Naked Angels has helped pave the way for Sam to continue making the great wine he loves, exclusively for you!
