Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Vibrant, juicy Limestone Coast red
- This red blend is a classic cool climate example of its kind. The delightful union of two beautiful areas of the Limestone Coast: Mount Benson and Bool Lagoon, each bringing their own characteristics to the wine.
- The Hoopers used low intervention winemaking to allow those fabulous grapes to shine. Cassis and red berries hit you first, followed by a touch of fresh eucalyptus. Take a sip to enjoy the smooth tannins riding on a wave of ripe plum and blackberry flavours.
- Smooth and aromatic, this juicy red is bound to please a lot of palates. You can’t go past it for the price - it’s outstanding value considering the craftsmanship and quality of the fruit!
Best before
We made this wine in a drink now style, to appreciate as much as possible the fruity notes, but can be aged for another 10 years in your cellar.
Serving advice
Enjoy in any occasion, perfect for any season and any palate due its versatility.
Food match
The beauty about this wine is that you can also drink it by itself, but, like any other wine, you'll get the best of it when paired with food.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Derek Hooper
Hooper & Co’s wines echo the pristine land they come from, the local community and pushing wine boundaries (Derek’s speciality!)
Derek’s son, Harry, splits his time between winemaking and brewing. Daughter Grace is already elbow deep in grape juice, and Daisy is a marketing specialist in the industry.
From father Kym’s first vineyard back in 1992, through Derek, to his fresh-faced, eager charges, they are one of the new families of wine. And they’re out to stir up your palate with fantastic drops with sustainability at their core.
