Narrative Second Chapter Margaret River Semillon 2022
About the wine
Crisp, light and full of flavour
- Another classy Western Australian gem from a producer with an iconic Australian wine legacy and access to some of the best vineyards in WA.
This Semillon was grown on the Tate's Miamup vineyard, in the center of the Margaret River region. It's got a slight northern aspect that always gives generous amounts of perfectly ripe fruit.
Crack open a bottle to enjoy its ripe fig, lemon granita and cracked peppercorn characters. Crisp and light, it’s bursting with ripe stone fruits, green apple and lemon blossom and a refreshing acidity that leads into a lingering finish. Yum!
Best before
Enjoyed young, this wine will echo the characters of its fresh fruit, retaining a lot of citrusy notes with a hint of spice and good vinosity. Semillon is also a variety that develops very interesting characters in aging: if you decide to cellar a bottle, keep it away from light and enjoy the added complexity and texture of this noble variety.
