About the wine
Single vineyard Hunter classic!
- It's no surprise a wine made with this much TLC is in hot demand each year. Hand grown and hand made, Thomas has brought back another shining exhibit of Hunter terroir for you to immerse yourself in.
- The Hunter is world renowned for Semillon and this baby delivers. It is deliciously crisp with an abundance of citrus and lemongrass notes and a gentle sweet tingle on the palate, leaving you thirsty for more.
- If left to age for several years some unique and complex tones will develop; think vanilla, honey and toasty characters. Or if you're like us, this won't last more than a week at home. Crafted from a small batch, it's best to lock a few in you basket while you can!
Best before
Drink this early to enjoy the current state but if you have more will power than I do this will age gracefully over the next 10-15 years
Serving advice
Serve this wine chilled but not frozen that's for sure
Food match
This is paired perfectly with some beautiful Hunter River School prawns or any form of seafood, or amazing well with any form of chilli & basil stir-fry.

Meet the winemaker - Thomas Hordern
- Born into a winemaking family, Thomas has been up to his ears in grape juice all his life and active in the business for over 15 years. His intimate knowledge of the Hunter grape growing region is next level.
- His true passion, and lifelong dream, was one day to summon up the courage to go 100% Naked. He instinctively believed there had to be a better way than slogging away working for the ‘man’.
- When his day job came to a halt, Angel funding came to the rescue and Thomas is now fully Naked and fully focused on crafting thousands of cases of Angel-exclusive Wiley Rooster NSW deliciousness.
