About the wine
Rob's first Naked Cellar release!
- Stop the bus! Rob has held back this incredible parcel of wine to take all the fuss of out of medium-term cellaring for you. Even better - it's beginning to hit it's peak right now.
- If you like your reds BIG, then look no further...Petit Verdot is rich, powerful and full-bodied. Time in premium French and American oak has added complexity to the layers of black plum and wild berry. Hints of mocha, chocolate and subtle toasted oak will also join the flavour party. The tannin structure of this varietal gives it the potential to age extremely well.
- This is Rob's first Sweet Spot wine, dubbed his Elevage range. Elevage is a French term for the progression of wine between fermentation and bottling, in a way it is the wine's adolescence. Don't miss this moment in history - a 2012 simply won't stick around long with so many Angels waiting!
